Class 4* Dwelling parts of aged care facilities
Class 5 Office buildings, front offices of factories or warehouses
Class 6 Showrooms, restaurants
Class 7 Carparks, storage warehouses
Class 8 Laboratories, workshops
Class 9a Hospitals
Class 9b Workshops/labs in schools
Class 9c Aged care buildings
*In BCA 2010 Building Classes 2 and 4 are required to comply with energy rating requirements under Section J rather than the Deemed-to-Satisfy (DTS) method. Please refer to Volume 1 p.612.
