The 2008 Master Builders Housing Award for Excellence in Building for Queensland’s Climate - the latest in a long line of award-winning homes to use Kingspan AIR-CELL® Insulation.
Built by the Unique Structural Company on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, the home is a reflection of the peak in quality building. Unique Structural Company Director, Mr. Bo Williams, says quality is one of the key characteristics that set their homes apart: “We take great pride in our craft and are committed to building top quality homes using only the highest quality products such as Kingspan AIR-CELL® Insulation.”
The home was built with a number of energy efficient features including energy saving low-e tinted glass in all fixed and opening windows and doors with Kingspan AIR-CELL® Insulation in both the roof and walls.
Mr. Williams says, “We’ve been using Kingspan AIR-CELL® for some time now not just because it’s a top quality product but also because it’s so easy to use. And the contribution it makes to the passive energy efficiency of our homes is fantastic.”
